Jetty Dive Centre operates 2 Fast Rigid Inflatable Boats, diving the Solitary Islands Marine Park. This is where the tropical fish from the north meet the southern fishlife. Clownfish and Dorys mixing with Grey Nurse sharks all year round does not happen where Soft and Hard Corals are prolific, like the Solitary Islands. The Sanctuary zones around the islands offer so many fish, you really will not know where to look! Full Dive Shop facilities including servicing and Nitrox. Online shop as well!
"Wilfin, our 12 mtr Charter Boat takes 16 divers and 4 Divemasters and "2 Wild", our 10 mtr Charter Boat takes 12 divers with 3 Divemasters. both with onboard toilets and a very comfortable ride. Our Double Dive trips usually start at 7.30am and finish around 1.00pm. Two dives with an hour surface interval where we provide a Coffee, Tea or Soup with some light snacks. Small groups are our specialty, with our local dive guides, we can show you everything from Nudibranchs to Sharks.
South Solitary Island is our main divesite, around 30 minutes by boat from Coffs Harbour, although we visit the other islands including North Solitary Island which is about 60 minutes by boat from Coffs Harbour. The Solitary Islands Marine Park has a spectacular range of fishlife, from the small colourful tropicals like on the Barrier Reef, to the Big Fish, like the endangered Black Cod and closeup encounters with Grey Nurse Sharks. Winter time can have 20 to 40 Grey Nurse sharks at "Manta Arch" divesite, whilst summertime you can see Leopard Sharks and maybe a Manta Ray!
Jetty Dive has a full range of hire equipment, each with dive computers. Tanks and weights can be included or you can bring your own. Our Nitrox Compressor has Nitrox on tap and a low cost extra.
