Reef Encounter is a luxury liveaboard operating out of Cairns on Australia's Great Barrier Reef, a UNESCO World Heritage listed area. We cater for snorkellers, introductory divers and certified divers.

Reef Encounter is a fully air conditioned 35 metre catamaran hotel, designed for the utmost stability and comfort at sea. There is a large dining saloon together with TV and lounge area and a fully licenced bar. Outdoor fresh water hot-tub and a spacious sundeck with sun lounges. Hydrolic lift large easy access dive and snorkel platform and a helicopter pad on the roof !!
All Reef Encounter cabins are spacious and airconditioned with ocean views, They have their own ensuite with towels and toiletries provided. Check in is 10am and check out 8am. All meals are chef prepared daily onboard. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and desert are included with fruit available throughout the day along with tea and coffee. All the latest snorkeling and scuba diving equipment is also included.
